What's New

In 1904 Tuomas Konsta Komulainen emigrated from Finland, arriving in New York on September 2nd. Shortly thereafter he joined the United States Army. Somewhere in the induction process "Komulainen" became "Komline" and our family name came into being.

These genealogy pages contain records of the Komline family and many others, from the perspective of one of Konsta's grandsons, Russell Marlow Komline, and Russell's wife, Judith. Powerful tools are available, especially relationship charting.

Click on "login" above, then, at the bottom of the form, click on "Register for New User Account". We will get back to you in a day or so with your login information. For privacy reasons, you will not be able to see dates for living persons.

A note on sources:

Most of the genealogical research reflected on this website was done by many others before us. We are grateful for the care of those ancestors and relatives who preserved an important piece of our historical record. Some of the older published genealogies which have been used as sources have been scanned by public archive projects and are available as downloads from the internet. More recently published works may still be available for purchase. Here is a list of some of the major sources for our work and links, if available, to where they can be found.
